Dr. Aimee Chiligiris is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adolescents, young adults, adults and families. She specializes in the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, as well as grief, loss and trauma. She also works with loved ones who wish to help a significant other seek treatment. Her work has been presented and recognized nationally and she has helped to develop and implement treatment programs and trainings on substance use disorders and evidence based treatments. She is also passionate about training and supervising students and mental health clinicians.
Dr. Chiligiris earned her masters degree in psychology from Teachers College- Columbia University and doctoral degree in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship and fellowship at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. She was most recently on staff as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center. She is the founder of York Psychological Services and is licensed in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. At Soffer & Associates, Dr. Chiligiris serves as a senior consultant and supervisor. |
