Dr. Wijetunga understands their unique personal and professional challenges, and she is committed to helping them gain clarity, confidence, and balance as they navigate these challenges.

CHARITY WIJETUNGA, J.D., PH.D.

My therapeutic approach is honest, empathic, and experiential, incorporating relational psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques. I prioritize the establishment of an authentic therapeutic relationship and believe in its potential to help people better understand themselves, their experiences, and their relationships. I also use structured interventions to ensure that people have the strategies they need to cope with stress, manage overwhelming emotions, and shift repetitive cycles that keep them feeling stuck.
