This graph demonstrates decreases in Depression, Academic Distress and Generalized Anxiety on the CCAPS-34 over nine sessions for clients in a counseling center who began sessions above a high-cut point score. The center Director used these visualizations to advocate for the impact of their services.
This graph shows raw score and percent change (reductions) in suicidal ideation over counseling sessions. It was used in a Board of Directors Meeting to successfully advocate for a crisis counselor.
Here we see that while the number of unique students served has remained relatively stable, the number of sessions has increased steadily. This visualization helped the Center Director rethink training around counseling goals as this center was consistently reaching a waitlist mid-semester.​
The below graph highlights the interaction between GPA, Anxiety and counseling. It helped a Center Director highlight the role mental health counseling plays in retention.
This graph shows that it takes approximately eight sessions for Depression symptoms to reach clinically non-significant levels, and helped the Center Director advocate for longer session limits.​
Below we see differential changes in Depression reduction between racial/ethnic groups at this Counseling Center. This was used as part of a broader multicultural awareness training among staff and trainees.​
