EMAIL DR. WEINBERGER
Dr. Emily Weinberger earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. Dr. Weinberger also studied Spanish and Social Human Rights at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Broadly, Dr. Weinberger is interested in combining research and clinical practice to promote positive outcomes for individuals and families. She is passionate about the assessment and treatment of trauma and attachment-related disorders and emotion dysregulation.

Dr. Weinberger has trained in child/adolescent outpatient and day treatment programs, inpatient hospitals, and forensic settings (e.g., juvenile detention, adult jails, courts) with diverse patients across the lifespan. She approaches therapy from a flexible, compassionate, strengths-based, and holistic lens. Dr. Weinberger strives to treat the whole person by creating a collaborative environment and genuine therapeutic relationship. She utilizes relational, cognitive/behavioral, and mindfulness techniques to support individuals in better understanding themselves and coping effectively with adversity.
