John Lee, M.A.

John Lee is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at Fordham University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University.
John’s research centers on substance use patterns across the lifespan, with a focus on developmental risk factors and emerging trends such as e-cigarette use among adolescents. His work aims to better understand the psychological, social, and contextual influences on substance use and mental health outcomes over time. John also has a great deal of experience working with executive functioning and emotion regulation in clients of all ages. Clinically, John has experience working with adolescents and adults facing a range of challenges, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). His therapeutic approach is grounded primarily in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emphasizing collaborative, structured, and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. |
