I am a clinical social worker practicing in New York. I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Dance from Muhlenberg College. After graduating, I spent five years working in the music and fitness marketing industries until realizing that my interests were less in sales and more so in learning about client’s experiences and helping to enhance their health and wellness. At that point, I realized it was time for a change and decided to pursue a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University. I have experience providing psychotherapy in both a high school and private practice setting, working with children, adolescents, couples and groups.
I strive to provide clients with individualized, goal-oriented therapy. I use a combination of psychodynamic and CBT along with mindfulness techniques to help clients feel centered, balanced, and in control. As a former athlete and dancer, I understand the importance of the mind-body connection. I bring this awareness to my clinical work, helping clients integrate their physical and emotional experiences. Overall, I am passionate about helping clients harness their strengths and resourcefulness to develop confidence and understanding in themselves and their ability to heal.
